Points Pooling
Points pooling lets two or more members combine their balances into one shared pot, usually within a family or a defined group. The pooled total can then be redeemed as a single block. It is a way to reach an award that none of the individual balances could cover alone.
What it means in practice
Programs that allow pooling set their own rules about who can join, how much each person can contribute, and whether there are fees. Pooling can also rescue points that would otherwise expire by moving them into an active shared account. Not every program offers it, so this is worth confirming program by program.
Example
Three family members hold 25,000, 20,000, and 15,000 points each. None can book a 50,000-point award on their own, but pooled together they have 60,000 points and can cover it with room to spare.
